Project Description
Paint and Handy recently completed the interior decoration of a charming 3-bedroom flat in Lewisham, London. This project involved a comprehensive refresh of the flat’s ceilings, walls, and woodwork, using premium Dulux products to achieve a pristine and elegant finish.
All surfaces, including ceilings, walls, and woodwork, were meticulously prepared to ensure the best adhesion of the new paint. This involved cleaning, sanding, and repairing any imperfections. Furniture, flooring, and fixtures were carefully covered and protected to prevent any paint splatters and ensure a clean working environment.
Dulux Pure Brilliant White Vinyl Matt was chosen for its excellent coverage, durability, and smooth finish, making it ideal for ceilings and walls. Two coats of Dulux Pure Brilliant White Vinyl Matt were applied to all ceilings and walls. This paint provided a crisp, clean look, enhancing the natural light in the flat and creating a fresh, bright atmosphere. The first coat was allowed to dry thoroughly before applying the second coat, ensuring a uniform and flawless finish.
Dulux oil-based Eggshell was selected for the woodwork, including doors, skirting boards, and window frames. This paint is known for its durability and subtle sheen, which adds a touch of elegance to wood surfaces.
The woodwork was lightly sanded and primed where necessary to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Two coats of Dulux oil-based Eggshell were applied, allowing sufficient drying time between coats to achieve a smooth and even finish.
The completed decoration of the 3-bedroom flat in Lewisham transformed the living spaces into a bright, inviting environment.
