Project Description
Paint and Handy completed a detailed three-day interior redecoration project for a new customer’s flat in Camden, delivering a clean, contemporary finish with bold design contrasts and meticulous workmanship.
The project involved repainting the hallway and bedroom, with careful attention given to preparation. All surfaces were assessed, repaired where necessary, and thoroughly sanded to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish. Walls and ceilings were painted using Dulux Diamond Pure Brilliant White, chosen for its durability, light-reflective qualities, and crisp, modern appearance—helping to brighten the flat and enhance the sense of space.
Woodwork throughout was finished in All White 2005, providing a subtle contrast against the walls while maintaining a timeless and cohesive look across door frames, skirting boards, and trims. Particular care was taken with cutting-in and detailing to achieve sharp, clean edges throughout the property.
A standout feature of the project was the transformation of the built-in shelving unit and wardrobe, painted in Lick Black No. 2. This deep, rich tone introduced a bold architectural statement, creating depth and character while complementing the exposed brickwork and natural flooring. The shelving was painted with precision using a combination of rollers and brushes to ensure even coverage, durability, and a refined finish suitable for everyday use.
As with all Paint and Handy projects, cleanliness and respect for the client’s home were paramount. Upon completion, the flat was fully cleaned and dust-free leaving behind nothing but a flawless finish and a refreshed living space.
