Project Description
Paint and Handy carried out a complete internal redecoration of this four-bedroom mid-terrace property in Lewisham, delivering a stunning, elegant finish across every room. The project required careful coordination, premium paint selections, and a high level of craftsmanship to ensure continuity throughout the home.
Colour & Finish Schedule
The front living room was designed to feel warm and welcoming, with walls finished in Little Greene “Julie’s Dream (26)” – Intelligent Matt Emulsion, offering a soft depth of colour with a durable, washable finish. The ceiling was painted in Little Greene “Masquerade Mid (333)” – Absolute Matt Emulsion, creating a subtle contrast while maintaining a refined aesthetic. Woodwork was completed in Little Greene “Masquerade Light (332)” – Intelligent Eggshell, providing durability with a delicate sheen that enhances architectural detail.
In the kitchen, walls and ceilings were painted in Little Greene “Slaked Lime Mid (149)” – Intelligent Matt Emulsion, creating a fresh, natural backdrop that complements the cabinetry and lighting. Kitchen woodwork was finished in Little Greene “Slaked Lime (105)” – Intelligent Eggshell, ensuring both durability and continuity in tone.
The back living room introduced a more contemporary contrast, with walls painted in Coat “Yard Party” – Matt, ceilings in Coat “Mansard” – Matt, and woodwork carefully coordinated to match the design scheme, including selected areas finished in Little Greene “Masquerade Light (332)” – Intelligent Eggshell to maintain flow between rooms.
The nursery was completed using Little Greene “Brighton (203)” – Intelligent Matt Emulsion for walls and ceilings, creating a soft yet uplifting environment. Woodwork was matched with the kitchen finish in Slaked Lime (105) – Intelligent Eggshell to ensure harmony across the property.
Preparation & Craftsmanship
As with all full-house redecorations, preparation was the foundation of the project. Surfaces were thoroughly inspected, repaired, filled, and sanded to achieve smooth, consistent finishes. Woodwork was carefully de-glossed and primed where required to ensure long-lasting adhesion and a flawless final coat.
Precision cutting-in, even roller application, and consistent coverage were maintained across all rooms. Particular attention was paid to transitions between colours and finishes to create crisp lines and seamless junctions.
Throughout the works, all flooring and fixed elements were fully protected. Daily clean-downs ensured the property remained organised and manageable for the household.
The completed project transformed this Lewisham mid-terrace into a bright, cohesive, and beautifully balanced family home. Each room carries its own personality while remaining visually connected through a considered colour palette and premium finishes.
