Project Description
Paint and Handy was appointed to carry out a full renovation of a three-bedroom flat in Bromley, London. The property needed a refresh throughout, with tired paintwork, dated colour schemes, and general wear and tear across all rooms.
The client’s brief was clear: ‘make it as new in a weeks’ time’ On our initial visit, we walked through each room with the client, discussing lighting, usage, preferred colours, use of wall papers, ceiling colours, extend of preparation required. Each room was treated individually, with tones selected to suit its function while maintaining an overall sense of harmony across the home.
The project involved extensive surface preparation. Cracks, dents, and previous imperfections were carefully repaired, and all walls and ceilings were thoroughly sanded and filled where needed. Our team ensured every surface was smooth and ready for painting, forming the perfect base for a high-end finish.
We choose luxurious loft white from Little Greene for the shared living areas and passages, creating a bright and airy feel. In the bedrooms, we introduced deeper accent tones and complementary finishes, tailored to each room’s character. Internal woodwork, including skirtings and doors, was repainted to match the new scheme, providing sharp definition and a clean finish throughout.
The flat was completed to an immaculate standard, with even brushwork, crisp edges, and smooth surfaces across the board. The transformation not only elevated the visual appeal of the property but also created a warm and welcoming home environment, all completed in 5 days.
